Green Thunder moves to PIO
After a great preliminary performance (84.85, 1st place PIA), GTP was bumped into the Percussion Independant Open Class for finals on Sunday at the WGI Indianapolis Regional.
"Leading a duo of lines promoted from PIA after prelims, Green Thunder Percussion (IL) (2nd- 81.00) scored well in their first PIO performance. Once “Momentum” started, it kept going in seemingly perpetual motion. The young men did a great job handling the bright, fast paced music which kept the audience involved through the sheer energy of the performance." (courtesy of wgi.org)
Green Thunder placed 2nd in PIO Finals to Tates Creek (85.45, 1st place), and will have another weekend ahead of them to improve their performance before competing at the WGI Nashville Regional in two weeks. Stay tuned for more details!
